Fight Child Sex Trafficking in The U.S. ...

I was 11 when a man in my neighborhood started sexually abusing me, and 13 when I became his victim of child sex trafficking. My “shifts” were from 6 pm to 6 am, but I tried to keep up a normal teenage routine – at school and in my foster care. Amazingly, none of the adults in my life recognized what was going on. They weren’t trained to see the warning signs of child sex trafficking. Traumatized and desperate, I shot and killed my trafficker at age 16...


I was tried as an adult and sentenced to life in prison without possibility of parole...
